David Guetta – Dangerous
ft Sam Martin

By | Music Videos | No Comments

David Guetta plays F1 racing driver in his latest high-octane music video for his new single Dangerous. Filmed at Spain’s Jerez circuit, with Guetta driving a Lotus E21, this epic 7 minute short film shows Guetta in a dramatic track showdown with actual F1 driver, Romain Grosjean.

As the stage is being set for the big race there is plenty of eye candy with both pit crews consisting of gorgeous, leggy models wearing all sorts of skin tight body suits and outrageously high heels. The video tells the bitter saga of rivalry between two racers – “There are no friends in Formula One” Guetta says during in the clip. After a hard fought race Guetta of course wins and starts spraying copious amounts of champagne, in the stands and later in a nightclub.

Dangerous is the 4th single to be lifted from Guetta’s upcoming sixth studio album Listen, slated for a November 24 release. Nicki Minaj, Sia and John Legend are just some of the many collaborators that will appear on the album. The song itself is a step away from Guetta’s normal style – it has an easy going vibe, steady percussion and Sam Martin’s great vocals. Guetta has also added a “Banging” remix so that he could play it in all his sets.

Guetta recently spoke to Billboard about the album : “The way that I’m making my album is ultra-traditional. I’m composing with piano, guitar, acoustic instruments, and then completely at the end when I had 100 songs, only then did I pick the best 15 or 18 and turn them into dance tracks. That’s a completely opposite process of what I used to do. It was a big challenge, but it was the right challenge.”

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

By | Music Videos | No Comments

The final full-length trailer for the The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies has just been released and it’s epic! There’s fire and brimstone, there’s death and destruction and there’s some pretty intense war sequences, plus Benedict Cumberbatch’s dragon still hasn’t been slayed… The final chapter of Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy is just weeks away and this last trailer gives us a really good look at the film. Prepare for the defining moment of the Middle Earth legend…

(To watch this trailer in Creation 5, just tap here.)

In the trailer we see lots of new characters, in fact, it looks like virtually every character from the last two Hobbit films, plus plenty of the Lord of The Rings characters make an appearance in the final episode. All of these characters will come together for an epic 45-minute battle scene. It looks like Middle Earth is going to war, again.

The Battle of the Five Armies will see Smaug’s wrath explode upon the poor inhabitants of Lake-town, while the evil wizard, Sauron, who has returned to Middle-Earth, sends an army of Orcs and Wargs to attack the Lonely Mountain.

During a recent interview with USA today Peter Jackson commented: “The fate of Middle-earth is not really going to swing one way or the other [in this film]. But there’s a lot of characters we’ve introduced, and some of them we like and some of them who we feel empathy for are going to behave badly because they’re confronted with the ultimate test, which is massive wealth. And it brings out the worst in people.”

So, after 15 years and five previous films, Peter Jackson will say goodbye to J.R.R. Tolkien‘s world. We can’t wait for December 12 when the film hits cinema’s everywhere!

Carrie Underwood – Something in the Water

By | Music Videos | No Comments

Carrie Underwood has just released a spiritually drenched music video for Something in the Water that features a 16-member choir and 12 dancers. The stunningly beautiful dancing was choreographed by the So You Think You Can Dance star Travis Wall, who said the experience was ‘one-of-a-kind’ – “It was amazing working with her — I don’t think she ever worked with that many dancers, but she was super sweet. We were all freezing from dancing all day in the water, but the moment Carrie started singing — it was like the water warmed up, everyone relaxed and it all came together perfectly.”

(To watch the video in Creation 5, just tap here.)

The video was launched yesterday (November 6) just after the country superstar had performed the song at the Country Music Awards (CMAs) – which she was co-hosting with Brad Paisley. The video was directed by Raj Kapoor and sees the choir, the dancers and Carrie herself in the water for the duration of the 4-minute clip. “We took it in a direction that was probably not what most people would think,” Carrie commented. “We just made it joyful and happy and uplifting.”

Something in the Water is featured on Carrie’s next album – Greatest Hits: Decade #1 – which is due out on December 9. It seems incredible to think that its been 10 years since Carrie was crowned on American Idol – and since then she has had an incredible 18 Nº1 hits! This new song is so far performing better than any of her other hits, notching up 125,000 sales in the first week alone.

Last nights performance at the CMAs will probably be Carrie’s last for a while – already 3 months pregnant Carrie is expecting a boy in Spring next year!

Lorde – Yellow Flicker Beat
(Hunger Games)

By | Music Videos | No Comments

Lorde has released her music video for Yellow Flicker Beat – it’s eerie and darker than her other videos but its got to be her most dynamic yet, we love it! Lorde, who turns 18 tomorrow (November 7) starts of chanting in a darkened room lit only by neon lights. From there we’re taken on a journey with Lorde dancing the whole way. The locations are diverse and her outfits, and dancing, quite sensational. Later on in the video she attends a glamourous 20’s style cocktail party – where she, of course, falls into a dark abyss.

(To watch the video in Creation 5, just tap here.)

The video was directed by Emily Kai Bok and Yellow Flicker Beat is the first single to be released from the soundtrack she has curated for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I. The soundtrack will be released on November 17 and has contributions from Grace Jones, Kanye West, CHVRCHES, Charli XCX, Simon Le Bon, Ariana Grande, Major Lazer, The Chemical Brothers, Tove Lo, Q-Tip, Pusha T, Haim, Bat For Lashes, Miguel and more.

Lorde shared the audio for Yellow Flicker Beat back in September this year and wrote about the track on her Tumblr : “my attempt at getting inside [Katniss’] head.” Lorde appears on three more Mockingjay tracks which she fine-tuned on her tour bus after shows: “…I set up in this little bed office. I work from midnight until late on the soundtrack, singing into my computer, listening to demos and final mixes.”

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I is in cinemas from November 21st.

Kendrick Lamar – i

By | Music Videos | No Comments

The most-discussed rap song of the past few months just got a music video! Kendrick Lamar released the official music video for his latest single i. On the face of it the video seems simple and happy with a one-nation-under-a-groove feel to it, exuding the same kind of uplifting energy that the song delivers. But there is so much more to it – as Kendrick dances his way through the city we see glimpses of discord and sadness: policemen accosting black men, a violent husband screaming at his wife and suicidal men in dingy looking kitchens. It’s a whole tapestry of emotions and shows how clever Lamar is at delivering a smart social commentary, even when he indulges his lighter side.

(To watch this video in Creation 5, just tap here.)

Speaking on New York’s Hot 97 recently, Lamar said: “I wrote a record for the homies that’s in the penitentiary right now, and I also wrote a record for these kids that come up to my shows with these slashes on they wrists, saying they don’t want to live no more,” he said.

Directed by Alexandre Moors & the Little Homies, the video embodies a really heavy message in the most positive way possible. Lamar leads a ‘dancing parade’ through the dark streets and dancing is not something he is known for. Lamar approaches the dancing like he approaches his music – he doesn’t care what anyone else is doing or what we think he should be doing, he just does it his way.

k02

“i” is the lead single off Lamar’s still-untitled third album and sound-wise everyone was surprised by the song – a cheerful anthem over an upbeat sample of the Isley Brothers’ That Lady. Ron Isley even makes a cameo appearance, driving Lamar through the city.

CHAPPIE – Official Movie Trailer

By | Music Videos | No Comments

The first trailer for Chappie is here – the next movie from District 9 and Elysium director Neill Blomkamp. Prepare yourself for the most loveable robot since Wall-E, starring Hugh Jackman, Dev Patel, Sigourney Weaver and South African rap-rave duo Die Antwood (Yo-Landi Visser, Ninja). It’s the story of an intelligent robot child who is gifted and special and whose life will change the way the world looks at robots and humans forever. Meredith Woener of IGN described the movie as “very heartstring-pulling, musical-swelling, robot-eccentric film.”

(To watch this movie trailer in Creation 5, just tap here.)

This science fiction spectacle is chocker block full of emotion. It’s a coming of age tale, with a robot instead of a child. And Chappie is raised just like a child, forming a bond with his carers that is like nothing we have ever seen on screen before. Chappie is told “anything you wanna do in your life you can do – write poetry, have original ideas…” (which in this instance include watching Masters of the Universe cartoons, acting very “cool and tough” and stroking dogs). Problem is, people are always fearful of things they don’t understand.

Hugh Jackman plays the evil villain Vincent, a raging anti-robot fanatic who is hell-bent on turning Chappie into scrap metal. “The problem with Artificial Intelligence is it’s way too unpredictable,” Jackman says in the trailer.

“I am conscious. I am alive. I am Chappie.”

The movie is scheduled for release on March 6, 2015, by Columbia Pictures.

Minions – Official Trailer 1

By | Music Videos | No Comments

Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have released the highly anticipated trailer for the Minions movie and it looks awesome! See Stuart, Kevin, and Bob embarking on an epic journey 42 years before they met Gru. The trailer itself teaches us a few things about Minions: they were around thousands of years ago and came out of the sea, their first master was a dinosaur, they built pyramids, fought in Napolionic wars and killed vampires (not on purpose). After accidentally killing off so many of their masters Stuart, Kevin, and Bob venture out into the world to find a new evil boss.

(To watch this trailer in Creation 5, just tap here.)

Their journey eventually leads them to their evil master – Scarlet Overkill – played by Sandra Bullock, the first female villain to have ever been served by tribal minions. After a time in New york, the crew eventually end up in England where they try to fulfil their purpose and save their race from extinction.

Minions is co-directed by Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin (both Despicable Me 1 & 2 previously). Bullock is followed by Steve Carell as Gru, Jon Hamm (Herb Overkill), Katy Mixon (Tina), Hiroyuki Sanada (Sumo Villain), Jennifer Saunders (Queen Elizabeth), Pierre Coffin as the aforementioned three heroes, and Chris Renaud as the giggle-worthy voices of the Minions.

The film hits theaters in 3D starting July 10, 2015.

Hoodie Allen – All About It
ft. Ed Sheeran

By | Music Videos | No Comments

American Rapper Hoodie Allen and British pop superstar Ed Sheeran are silly superheroes in their new music video for All About It. You get to see Ed rapping and Hoodie singing the hook! “The All About It video was definitely one of my favorite videos to shoot,” Hoodie told BuzzFeed News recently, “because I got to hang out with my friend, and act silly and outrageous in costumes.”

(To watch the video in Creation 5, just tap here.)

In this fantastic collaboration the pair trade off verses while name-dropping Drake, Yeezus and a lot more! It’s a great change to see Ed Sheeran stepping away from his romantic, confessional songs. Both of the artists wanted this collaboration to be fun. Hoodie told BuzzFeed: “We decided early on we didn’t want there to be a normal set storyline,” he said. “It was way more fun to show the fans a different side of our personalities, and I knew if they saw us having fun then the result on the screen would match the energy of the song!”

Last month, Hoodie released his debut album People Keep Talking. Taking on all the marketing himself he has so far done an excellent job of promoting his independent record. The majority of tracks on the album have a pro music video or a high quality audio stream. This latest single from the outstanding new album is definitely our favourite – with Hoodie’s incredible vocals and Ed Sheeran rapping – it will be on repeat for ages!

Yesterday (November 3) Hoodie and Ed got together to release the clip – below is Ed’s tweet:

Fast & Furious 7 – Trailer

By | Music Videos | No Comments

They’re back! Watch the epic trailer for Furious 7 starring Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and of course the late and great Paul Walker. The next installment in Universal Pictures’ Fast & Furious high-speed franchise now has a full length trailer. And it’s completely epic – you’ll be breathless after watching it!

(To watch this trailer in Creation 5, just tap here.)

The film picks up where the last one left off with Ian Shaw (Statham) looking for revenge against Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his team for the death of his brother.

The film was in production when Paul Walker tragically died in a high speed car crash back in November 2013, he was only 40 years old. The majority of the filming was complete and the producers had to use digital effects helped by Paul’s brothers stepping in as body doubles, to finish the movie off.

Vin Diesel spoke about what it was like continuing with the film after Paul’s death: “I grew up in the bouncer world, and we lost people while we were bouncing. But the brotherhood in Paul Walker was something completely different. We grew up in the business together, and we became famous together, and we represented the biggest franchise together. He was my partner, and it’s a strange thing to … I’ve been acting all my life and they don’t teach you in acting, how to mourn someone and simultaneously pretend they’re in a scene with you.”

The trailer ends with Diesel saying “I don’t have friends. I got family,” before it cuts back to a scene starring Walker. The film will be in cinemas from April 2015. In the US it’s called Furious 7 and in the UK and Europe it’s called Fast & Furious 7.

Ariana Grande & The Weeknd – Love Me Harder

By | Music Videos | No Comments

Ariana Grande gets wet and dirty with The Weeknd in her new music video for Love Me Harder. Over the top sexiness, a leather bustier and plenty of sultry, moody looks, but not much else…“Our visuals are really about this tug of war of just loving harder,” director Hannah Lux Davis said. “And the compromise of giving in and needing more and wanting more.”

(To watch this video in Creation 5, just tap here.)

Grande is certainly attempting to shed her girl-next-door image, even though she retains the signature cat ears. Scenes of the 21-year old writhing around in the sand and touching herself are edited with explosive, sexually suggestive nature scenes, like golden grains of sand falling through fingers and orgasmic explosions in the sky. Yes, the Weekend is in it but its difficult to focus on him with Grande gyrating around and batting her huge eyelashes all the time.

For most of the video she takes on her all-too-familiar lying down position “I’m laying down in every music video ever” commented Grande. The official video was released today (November 3) after weeks of teasing fans with behind-the-scenes clips uploaded to Instagram.

The single is taken from Grande’s second solo album My Everything – the third single, after Problem and Break Free. The album was released in August this year by Republic Records and went straight to the top of the Billboard 200 selling an incredible 169.000 copies in the first week.
