If you don’t know Goldfish this mix is an excellent introduction. Dom Peters and David Poole, are a ridiculously talented electro-jazz duo from Cape Town, known as Goldfish. They have re-invented the DJ by combining traditional live instruments including Double bass, Saxophone, Keyboards, Flute, and Vocals with Samplers, Effects, Synths and a healthy dollop of freeform improvisation.
They’ve performed in countless countries across the world, including festivals such as Ultra and Glastonbury, have reached the top 10 in the US iTunes Dance Charts have been nominated for 8 SAMA awards, and have the likes of Pete Tong and Fedde Le Grand begging to mix one of their tracks… Goldfish have just about proved that they can do it all! With their striking musical DNA, heartfelt and dynamic live performances, and outgoing personalities, they’ve certainly left their fingerprints in our minds and have no doubt given technology a remarkable soul.
