It’s man against beast in The Prodigy’s animated urban warfare-styled video for their new brash and chaotic single Nasty. The track premiered yesterday (January 12) on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show and will feature on their upcoming new album, The Day Is My Enemy, their first album for six years! The animated clip features an adorable furry hero (who is the cover star of their new album) in a battle of wills with some local hunters. The final showdown is a bit transformative.

Veteran electronic act The Prodigy have harnessed the same kind of explosive energy on this track that is found on previous hits like Breathe and Smack My Bitch Up. The follow-up album to 2009’s Invaders Must Die features 14 tracks and according to founding member Liam Howlett, promises to be a more collaborative effort, one that will “stand apart” from today’s current EDM scene.

The band will be touring the UK to support the album release and tickets go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday January 14). They previously announced a load of festival dates, including a performance at Australia’s traveling Future Music tour in February, as well as at Rock AM/Rock IM Park in Germany and the Isle of Wight Festival in the summer.

The album will be released on March 30 via Three Six Zero Music/Warner Bros. and the band’s own Take Me to the Hospital imprint.
