Pitbull and Ne-Yo party like it’s 1999 in their new retro video for Time of Our Lives. Pitbull gives us a powerful, positive message for our new year celebrations – whether you owe rent, you’re late on bills or don’t have a job, Pitbull encourages you to forget your troubles and join him at a wild-ass house party with plenty of ass-shaking! “This for anybody going through tough times, Believe me, been there, done that, But everyday above ground is a great day, remember that” raps Pitbull.

In this Gil Green-directed video we go back to New Year’s Eve 1999, with Pitbull dressed as he was before he became Mr Worldwide – in a Miami Hurricanes Starter jacket, looking like a gangster – and receiving a text on an imitation Sidekick. It’s a delightful throwback.
Time of Our Lives follows Pitbull and Ne-Yo’s 2011 collaborative hit Give Me Everything, and is the 5th single to be taken from Mr Worlwide’s 7th solo studio album Globalization. The album, released in November, features lots of great collaborations including Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo and GRL. To support the album, Pitbull has been touring with Enrique Iglesias.
Pitbull will be hosting Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution which will be broadcast live from the Thompson Miami Beach hotel on New Years Eve. Acts include Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy, The Band Perry, Fifth Harmony, Becky G and of course Pitbull who will be headlining and ringing in the new year with Time of Our Lives. The show will air live from 8 to 10 p.m. ET, and after a break for the news will continue from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET on FOX.
