UK pop-house producer Duke Dumont has unveiled his new music video for ‘Won’t Look Back’ – it’s a wonderful sun-kissed house sound with glorious vocals – a sublime dance floor classic!
Since the audio was released a few weeks ago as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record, ‘Won’t Look Back’ has had over one and a half million plays on Soundcloud, went straight to #1 on the Hype Machine and entered the Shazam pre-release chart Top Ten.
The music video, as seems to be Duke’s style, is completely bizarre. A crew of pogo-jumping bank robbers, wearing creepy plastic masks, cavort around the streets of LA showing off some pretty impressive pogo-stick skills. The ending, isn’t the ending….well, watch it and you’ll see!
Over the last year Duke has had two Nº1 singles – with ‘Need U (100%)’ earning him a Grammy nomination and ‘I GOT U’ feat. Jax Jones becoming one of 2014’s biggest club anthems selling over 2 million copies and topping the iTunes chart in 13 countries. It went to Nº1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, was on the BBC Radio 1 and Capital FM A-List and accumulated more than 40 million plays online.
Duke has a really busy summer ahead of him with loads of festival appearances including Lovebox, Lollapalooza and Creamfields, along with his own Blasé Boys Club residency at Sankey’s in Ibiza.
