Kendrick lamar - For Free? (Interlude) (Explicit)
Starting with the funniest of the bunch - For Free? - features a sometimes costumed, humorous Lamar chasing a rich woman round her stately home whilst shouting “This dick ain’t free!” in-between rapid-fire wordplay. Direcetd by Joe Weil and the Little Homies we thought it was laugh-out-loud-funny. It’s certainly the jazziest track on To Pimp a Butterfly - one YouTube comment said “worst track on the album, best music video”. See for yourself...
Foxes - Feet Don’t Fail Me Now
This fun video was launched by H&M as part of the H&M Loves Music Campaign. It’s an obvious Billy Elliot take off which we found to be really inspiring and quite charming. Its taken from Foxes upcoming 2nd studio album. Her last album Glorious reached Nº5 on the UK charts when it was released last year.
The Weeknd - I Can’t Feel My Face
The Weeknd is literally on fire right now, and not just in this music video. This track is his most pop-centric song to date which is lifted from his forthcoming album Beauty Behind the Madness. The video initially premiered on Apple Music but is now available for all to watch on YouTube. It’s at Nº2 on the US hot 100 and is yet to catch alight in the UK. It will, you’ll find yourself singing it endlessly. It’s damn catchy.
Mika - Staring at the Sun
The fifth music video from Mika’s latest album No Place In Heaven and we think it’s the most beautiful yet. It was filmed in Sicily according to Mika’s Facebook page:
“The video was shot from sunrise to sunset in one of the most striking and varied landscapes in the world. Sicily’s unique volcanic landscape provided the perfect setting in which for Mika to perform his love letter. Shot almost entirely using natural light, hardly anything else was needed but when your in a place with that much beauty, you don’t need much more.”
Natalie La Rose - Around the World
Hot on the heels of her Jeremih-assisted single Somebody, which has been certified platinum, Natalie La Rose travels Around the World. With the EDM-inspired Max Martin production and the guest feature by Fetty Wap, La Rose parties it up wherever she goes in this Hannah Lux Davis-directed clip. La Rose's debut EP is due this fall on Flo Rida's I.M.G label and Republic Records.
Pharrell Williams - Freedom
Previously only available on Apple Music, Pharrell’s thought-provoking and inspiring video, features an array of imagery showing how freedom differs around the world from horses stampeding across the American west to workers stitching garments in a factory. It highlights the numerous injustices in the world we live in. We love watching Pharrell scream FREEDOM - it is, after all, something worth screaming about.
Disclosure - Omen
Global superstar Sam Smith features in Disclosure’s latest single and music video for Omen. The video is the second part in the Caracal Film Series, directed by the amazing Ryan Hope. It’s set in a 'futuristic dystopian city', and we have 2 more parts to look forward to.
Jess Glynne - Don’t Be So hard On Yourself
Another uplifting song from vocal powerhouse Jess Glynne. Clark Peters (The Wire) stars in the video, which was directed by Declan Whitebloom and basically looks at an individual overcoming grief. Great message, great song.
The Game - 100ft featuring Drake
The Compton rapper has released a Drake-featuring cut called 100. He raps about his hometown over a soulful beat and about a minute and a half in Drake enters with with rhymes that are characteristically mellow and introspective, condemning that “fake shit” and wondering what it would be like if he weren’t so successful. Rumored to be featured on The Games highly anticipated The Documentary 2 album.
Demi Lovato - Cool for the Summer
Lovato might be singing Cool for the Summer but she is damn hot in her new music video! It’s a new Demi - seductive and smoking’ hot! Fishnet stockings, latex basque, seductive glances and lots of hair whipping. Oh and a bit of making out as well - that’’s what the song is about, after all! (shhh, don’t tell your mother)
